I don’t want to write tonight

But when taking on a challenge (like my current one of blogging every day), there are going to be times where we don’t want to do what we committed to do.

I actually think those are the most important times. It’s easy just to walk away, to back down, to quit. But accepting a public challenge means that I’m not going to do that.

And you know what’s cool? Instead of the slightly empty feeling of taking the easy path, I’m thinking about challenges, and knocking them out of the park.

There’s an old quote I heard, which I love, that goes something along the lines of: “There are two paths, one hard one easy. And the only reward of the easy path is that it’s easy.”
